Enjoy some of the views we have seen and photographed
to share with our friends and you folks out there. You are welcome
to use them but please let us know where and when.
We all take photographs some time or another.
You would be suprised how many times the shutter clicks and film is exposed
before one comes up with a keeper. I remember a class I was attending when,
perhaps one of the greatest still life photographers, Ansel Adams was lecturing
and said "At times I have taken exposure after exposure, used sheet after
sheet of film and repeated many sittings to get one photograph I was satisfied
with. Don't ever become discouraged for that perfect capture on film
will be worth all your time and effort".
Using any kind of camera can
produce amazing results. Of course, more versatile the camera the
more exciting the results. Micro photography can offer the close
ups of nature such as plants and ants. The same goes for wild
animal photos using a long focal lens for those shots of a pet in the back
yard or a grizzly bear in the wild. We pack a pair of Nikons with
a variety of lenses from 24mm to 1000mm.
Don't forget you can achieve amazing photographs
for viewing and printing from your computer using your video camera.
There are several good video capture devices on the market.
Several photographs in this series were
captured using an 8mm Sony Handycam. We use the video camera this
way for both work and play.
